I remember when Nintendo announced Brawl and Sakurai was surprised. Then they asked him to make it and he accepted. What are your thoughts on this?

It seems pretty obvious that there will most likely be a Smash Bros. game in the future (on Nintendo's next console, probably) so it'd be good if Sakurai heads it again.

Yeah. He puts alot of care into the series.

Smash Bros. is almost on par with Mario and Zelda in terms of popularity and success so another Smash Bros. in the future is not a surprise, but it must come out on Nintendo's next console, not the Wii.

Hopefully, he'll be able to add all the characters and other goodies he couldn't fit in Brawl.

i think they would need do to something to make it feel fresh because brawl really disappointed me

Well, if they do make another SSB (which I am 99.9867543% sure they will), then hopefully they still add 3rd party characters, and also add megaman like they should have in Brawl! : (
