Nintendo showed us Skyward Sword for the Wii, which looks to be a good Zelda game, but the Wii U is not coming out untill late next year...So whats Nintendo going to give us to play untill then?
I can name only one game thats coming out for the Wii that I actully want to play, kinda sad no, have Nintendo just given up on the Wii now?

The Nintendo Wii is a home video game console released on November 19, 2006. The Wii's main selling point was the innovative use of motion controls that its signature Wii Remote and Nunchuk controllers allowed for. It became the best selling home console of its respective generation of hardware.
So what games will Nintendo give to Wii owners untill Wii U?
All 3 of these seem wishful. Hell Im wishing the same thing but Im highly doubtful.
- The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword
- Kirby Wii (name not final), which seems to support New Super Mario Bros.-like multiplayer.
- Rhythm Heaven.
- Xenoblade Chronicles.
- Localizations of Pandora's Tower and The Last Story, hopefully.
I haven't been playing a single Wii game since it first launched and I finished Zelda. It has literally been sitting there collecting dust and revving up occasionally for some Virtual Console action. Decided with all the nice releases scheduled and the interesting hardware of Wii U that I went out and spent $100 and picked up 6 games from Amazon, Gamestop, and Gamefly. Among those are Paper Mario, Super Mario, Kirby, and for some reason Zelda again. With all that I missed, hopefully, should hold me over until they release something good.
I doubt they would give you anything but ads and trailers. Now what will Nintendo sell you is a different story.

Well that sounds AWESOME.
people are missing games
marioparty 9
fortune street
new dragon quest game
poke park 2
zelda skyward sword
kirby return to dreamland
wii play motion-out
plus there is third party titles like
driver san francisco
wwe 2012
madden 12
nascar unleashed
call of duty modern warefare 3
and a rumored 007 title is supposed to be in the works -not related to goldeneye reloaded , tie in for the upcoming bond film ,
with that said , i think thats more then enough -not counting cheap quick pick me up games ,
people call shovelware i dont call them shovelware , because most of them are racing games , that people just over look , such as doge challenger vs charger camero vs corvette ford racing- probably the biggest franchise of the 3 i mentioned , since it started on the ps1
with that said you got those plus wii ware and vc games ,
and it dont stop because wii u is out , -wii u is actually gonna be a continuation of the wii brand, itll be fully bc with all your wii motes so dont sell them and accessories ,
dont do it , youll need them for multiplayer ,
so with that said that pretty much covers you plus who knows what can be announced in wiis final year , --- remember wii u wont come til end of 2012 most likely ,
and --- that leaves that whole year and who knows nintendo may let it stay out for as long as demand stays there , -they did this with n64 snes and gc to , gcs last game= madden 08 so ,
and n64s last games were marioparty 3 tony hawks 3 perfect dark ,
snes was donkey kong country 3 and kirby dreamland 3 well into the n64 gen so , any thing is possible for a 90 million seller console look at ds, even with demand for the system droping , its stil got quite a few games left in the pipe line for both 3ds and ds , so ya keep that in mind
@mariokart64fan: I think we were specifically talking about Nintendo games. Third party games are necessary for the Wii U to be a success, but none of what you've listed is impressive anyway.. all of those games can currently be played on current systems, who's going to wait another year just to play them on an expensive new system?
I think Nintendo has learned from what happened with the 3DS though, they need to release games to support the system, they can't just expect people to buy it. I'd also hope they've realised how woefully sub-par their online offerings. They desperately need an XBLA/PSN/Steam type system with the support of smaller and indie developers.
I haven't played either Skyward Sword or Xenoblade. And Last story is incoming. And I just got a 3DS. I haven't got enough time to play all this games :-) I wonder how much time people have, several 50+ hours games, and I play maximum 1-2 hours each and every day, maybe a few more hours on friday/saturday/sunday if I'm not doing something else.
