Which game will be the next BIG game for the Wii?

So far in my opinion its been Twilight Princess, Metroid, Galaxy and Brawl. So what do you guys think might become the next great game for the Wii? I think it could become The Conduit. It looks very promising to me.

Fuk knows, it looks like animal crossing is going to be the biggest release for the wii in the coming year. i havent really seen anything that interests me enough to say its a big release, lets just hope they can spit out another Mario, zelda or metroid game so us core gamers get something. third party developers need to develop something worthwhile instead of us relying on nintendo to keep the wii going and keep us satisfied.

The next "big" game will be Animal Crossing... unfortunately. The next BIG game (for me at least) will be the next Zelda. Someone might be able to make a pretty good game with Wii Motion Plus, but we'll see.

I think your looking at along time down the road. Atleast mid 2009. There is not one game currently announced that I think will be AAA.

Who knows? Maybe it'll be the next Zelda or Pikmin 3. Maybe even the much rumoured Kid Icarus. At the moment, there doesn't seem to be anything HUGE right now.

Of course, Tales of Symphonia 2, Little Kings Story, and Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: The Crystal Bearers are just 3 to mention that are looking great. But who knows when we might get some more info on FFCC: CB.

Difficult one probably Animal Crossing but it could also be Sonic and the Black Knight.

I think the games mentioned there seem pretty promising. And then the Conduit, Fatal Frame 4, Tenchu 4, Dead Rising, Wario Land, Sonic Black Knight, and Animal Crossing. I guess that there are some good games coming out. As for BIG, probably Zelda.

who knows all there games seem to be for casual gamers. The next big game will probably be Zelda because thats how fast they are releasing hardcore games for the Wii

For this year, the heavy hitters are Wario Land, MadWorld, The Conduit, and some others.

But this is the Wii's 3rd year, and by history, big years go one year and then the year after the next year.

MadWorld is 09, I believe.

PS3 and 360 don't have that problem with nothing coming out. They have great games every other month.

If Animal Crossings On-line is not a big confusing ass cluster of numbers, and Voice Chat works well, then Animal Crossing. If not maybe the Conduit, but that would have to blow everyones head off in terms of awesomeness.

If you look at the facts (sales), Metroid Prime 3: Corruption wasn't a BIG game...

Not to say that it's not a good game.. But perhaps you should consider these BIGGER games...

Mario Party 8

Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games

Wii Fit

Mario Kart Wii

Super Paper Mario

Big Brain Academy: Wii Degree

Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock

Now, I'm not saying that these games are the best (gameplay-wise, graphics-wise, etc.), but all these games (along with Wii Sports, Wii Play, and the games you mentioned) sold more than two million copies worldwide (except for MP3; selling 1.3+m).

Next big games? The only immediate game that comes to mind as selling a lot besides anything made by Nintendo is Guitar Hero: World Tour. That should, and hopefully will, be really big.

The only ones I'm looking foward to are:

A new Zelda game
A new Mario game
A new Starfox game (don't kill this franchise Nintendo! ;( )

But out of the announced ones, I'm looking foward to Animal Crossing, and that's it.

I just want more 3rd party games that are NOT crap. Or a new Nintendo IP that makes use of the Wii fully. WiiMusic is a sad joke, its more of a glorified tech demo.

The Conduit could be huge, but Im pretty excited about Force Unleashed for the Wii.

Wii Sports 2 will be the next biggest seller. And I"m sure they'll come up with another exercise game for the balance board. If you haven't tried it out, give No More Heroes a shot!

Well, they development team is completed singleplayer and said that they are now only focusing on Multiplayer and polishing the heck out of everything. So let's hope it looks great by the time we get it. Because right now, it looks kind of mixed. Some of it looks great (character models, lighting) but some of the environments and textures look quite poor.
