Why is Nintendo so limiting?

The Nintendo Wii is a home video game console released on November 19, 2006. The Wii's main selling point was the innovative use of motion controls that its signature Wii Remote and Nunchuk controllers allowed for. It became the best selling home console of its respective generation of hardware.

Why is Nintendo so limiting?

They have a huge backlog for past games, in fact the past was Nintendo's high point (with quality, not sales, although those were high too).

So why isnt there more VC games?

There are around 81 titles, and most are third party or second party. (EARTHBOUND PLEASE)

It is sooooo easy to do and only gives nintendo more money.

Im baffled.

All I want is F zero, Mario 128, and for them to get Rare on board for a new Donkey Kong.

I would like to see Nintendo vs Capcom. That would be amazing. Overall, Nintendo have been releasing a lot of first party content and I don't see them stopping anytime soon.

there isn't more games cause no one wants to make games for the wii cause its different than what they usually make and nintendo can only put out so many games by themselves

Your post doesn't mention VC at all, so of course some people (not just ThomasP) thought you meant sequels of their older IP, not VC releases.

@keyhunter: The last F-Zero didn't sell at all, Mario 128 was released (it's called Pikmin), and Rare is owned by Microsoft now so that will never ever, ever, ever happen.

Yeah, you're right. I'm not sure where my head was on that reply. On topic, I just hope they release all of it overtime and they continue to support the Wii, WiiWare and VC for many years to come.

Rare is owned by Microsoft. Donkey Kong is owned by Nintendo. So unless Rare is bought back by Nintendo we will never see a new Rare Donkey Kong game (Nintendo would never sell the rights to Donkey Kong).

By the new Rare do you mean the Rare owned by Microsoft? Thats ridiculous its still the same company. The games feel the same. Also when you call the Wii "your system" it makes you sound like a fan boy but, judging from your previous posts you ARE a Wii fanboy. Hahaha a Wii fanboy... I havent seen one of those in a while.

Get Snes9XGX, put the entire SNES library onto an SD card and play in emulation that far surpasses the Nintendo VC emulator.
