The Nintendo Wii is a home video game console released on November 19, 2006. The Wii's main selling point was the innovative use of motion controls that its signature Wii Remote and Nunchuk controllers allowed for. It became the best selling home console of its respective generation of hardware.
Part 1 also shows 10 seconds of footage from Zangeki no Reginleiv, the motion plus enabled fantasy 4 player online coop game by the Earth Defense Force developers. Check the 6:13 mark for that. It looks quite improved from the last footage we got over a year ago, especially in terms of frame rate. The rest shouldn't be new footage for most gamers following upcoming releases (actually, some are already released in some regions) but it's a neat collection for the most part, though not of great quality as Nintendo Channel's youtube processing tends to be. Some footage repeats.
I was wondering because Homecoming actually didn't get a J release at all.
But yeah, looking forward to playing Silent Hill and Crystal Bearers this year. Though Crystal Bearers will most probably fail horribly. No advertising (again) and a Dec 26 release are some weird marketing choices. But I guess we should be used to that by now.
What is this about a 4-player Co-Op game supporting MotionPlus? First time I heard of it.
Last year's unveiled Dynamic Slash, now Zangeki no REGINLEIV. It's not M+ exclusive though, just also compatible with it, and it also supports the classic controller, so I imagine any M+ function will be more about aesthetics than actually changing the gameplay. Perhaps it allows those slash effects to be at any direction when without M+ they're just semi random or something. Just watch the clip @ the part I mention and visit the link.
