.... as fricking controllers! :? (I meant RE5 in the title ;)
Capcom and peripheral makers Mad Catz Interactive Inc have signed a deal to bring branded controllers and accessories based on Street Fighter IV, Bionic Commando: Rearmed.
" This is a real collaboration between Mad Catz and Capcom. We are developing a broad variety of game peripherals for a wide game-playing audience — from the casual to the most loyal, core fan. These innovative peripherals will maximize the overall experience that comes from playing Capcom games. "

I myself don't actually think they will be based on these very games in question, but instead will be controllers meant to coincide with entirely new games. I think the Street Fighter one will be for collectors to be released in time for a new Street Fighter game for Wii they have not announced yet. That's not a far fetched idea when you look at Capcom's all time sales figures and how Nintendo has brought them the most success with the Street Fighter franchise. I still very much believe a Street Fighter is coming to Wii, albeit in a new form.
The Resi one will be made to coincide with a new RE game thay have not revealed, that could be a spin of game or even a reduced RE5 game.
The Bionic Commando one, I think will be for the originals release on Virtual Console along with a new 8 bit styled Bionic Commando for Wii Ware made in the same spirit as Megaman 9.

Capcom love has been evading the Wii of late with these three huge titles not coming to Wii, despite this, controllers based on these games in question are said to be coming to the Wii. Now, if that is the case it's almost like a insult to Wii owners to have these controllers and not the games themselves right?.
