Wildlife Park 2 (released as Wildlife Zoo in the US), is the first sequel to Wildlife Park, adding a number of animals and concepts to the core game play.
As did the first Wildlife Park, Wildlife Park 2 gives the player the option to manage his his/her own zoo, building cages for the animals and attractions for visitors. The goal of the game is to have a financially successful park, that also satisfies its inhabiting animals.
Included in Wildlife Park 2 are 65 animal species and 30 plant species, of which 5 animals are prehistoric.
The game saw a total of 4 expansions released, and is available in English, German, French and Italian.
Wildlife Park 2 was developed on the Gamebryo Engine, using SpeedTree and PathEngine technology.
As the first expansion to Wildlife Park 2, Crazy Zoo was released on 03/30/2007, and introduced 30 new animals to the zoo, as well as jeep tours, helicopter rides and the option for visitors to duel with a kangaroo.
Marine World, the second expansion pack for Wildlife Park 2, was released on 08/31/2007, and includes 20 amphibian animals, as well as 25 new facilities.
Released on 11/19/2010, the Farm World Expansion pack added a total of 9 farmyard animals, such as cows, pigs, and chickens. It also included 20 maps, ranging from Australia over Germany to North America, and introduced a number of farm related objects to the game.
Made available on 03/30/2012, Dino World is the fourth and, to date, final expansion pack for Wildlife Park 2. It introduces 11 extinct animals, the gross of them being dinosaurs, as well a new campaign featuring 9 missions.
