Since the Lillehammer Winter Olympics in 1994, every 4 years a game has been released to coincide with the Winter Olympic coverage on TV.
In general the Winter Olympic video games require much less button mashing than its Summer Olympic counterparts due to the nature of the events which are held.
As well as the usual Downhill Skiing, Slalom, Ski-jumping, Luge and Bob-sleigh events; Winter Olympic games have also included other events such as Curling, Speed Skating and the Snowboarding Half Pipe.
