Commando 3 makes a pretty good first impression, but the rest of the game doesn't offer enough excitement to carry you through to the end.

The classic series responsible for Commando and Mercs returns as a downloadable dual-joystick shooter from Capcom and Backbone Entertainment.

Overview

Wolf of the Battlefield: Commando 3, is a 'run and gun' downloadable game that was developed for the Xbox Live Arcade and the PlayStation Network by Backbone Entertainment, and was published by Capcom. It was released in 2008. It is the third game in the Commando series; the first being an arcade classic from 1985.

The game is a co-op shooter with support for up to 3 players, both online and offline. You are tasked with destroying as many enemy Zalestad soldiers as possible, making full use of a large arsenal of weapons and vehicles to achieve your goal. Commando 3 aims to provide a whole new generation with traditional arcade action, introducing new features such as online leaderboards to optimise the fun factor.
