Just wondering if, like Riddick and Darkness before it, Wolfenstein has any sort of chill-out areas to do a little talking/wandering around, rather than just jumping from level to level.

It isn't a deal-breaker, as I've actually just gone out and bought it based on the developer and great word-of-mouth, would just like to know a little more of what to expect in terms of structure, as those bits really helped the previously mentioned games stand out from the crowd.

I haven't played the game, but it seems as though there is a resistance hideout that you visit between missions. I don't know about unique areas to explore sans combat though.

Yes, there is a hideout where you can find some small side stuff to do, where you have some character interactions, etc. There aren't any mid-cutscene choices to make, though.

Yep, a good amount of that stuff. It's a level-based game, but there are sections between them like this. So they're set sections between the action.

Yes, complete with some light side-quests you can do for some of the side-characters. It is level-based (do one level, return to hub, do another, return, etc), but the fact that it also changes a bit on every return is also quite neat.

Always appreciate games that give you this style of interactive HUB area in-between levels. One of my favourite aspects of X-Men Legends was exploring the Xavier Mansion as Magma, even if getting around was a little slower than I'd like. The games after it had its own HUB areas, but they were significantly smaller and more enclosed.
