Hello fellow Duders! 
 
A while back the official EU Giantbomb guild was created on Defias Brotherhood EU and it has slowly and sadly started fading out of existence. I have taken over as GM and would like to build the guild back up to be a friendly place for the EU members of this awesome community to come together, play some WoW and ultimately have a laugh together. Those of you who have been active in the past month will still find your selfs in the guild, but for those of you who have been inactive for longer unfortunately have been culled from the list, don't fret though all Giantbomb members are welcome to sign up again the cuts were simply to tidy up the list. Anyone from Giantbomb is welcome to join, just post below with your character name, race and class, then whisper either Ragakar (me) or Tactaela (TaliciaDragonsong) in game for an invite. :D

I dont have a sub but if i knew there would be enough people i would totally get a time card and start with you guys. Last time it didnt work at all though so ill wait

My main chars are on Argent Dawn, but since I dint played wow since January this year I want to start fresh.

Hmm there is no game I'm looking forward to this month and I've never played Horde, so why not.

I think the newest version of the installer is broken btw.

Yeah, by buying the EU versions of the game. It's the same with Starcraft.. kinda sucks.

@SythonX7: It's not working whatever I do.. how is it possible to mess up an installer? *sigh*

@SythonX7: @Nasos100: Well, it always freezes at 49% (no error msg though) of the installation without having downloaded anything at all. I've been waiting for about 20 minutes each time.. using admin mode and trying different compatibilty modes, too.

Using Win 7 64Bit.

@SythonX7: The firewall doesn't even come into play, because it's not trying to download anything just yet. It pretty much freezes while creating a temp folder.

Alright, something new..when I start the installation it almost immediately jumps to 24%, stays there for 5 minutes and after it reaches 27% it goes up to 30%, BUT the bar is not at 30%, it's at about 60 and then it freezes. This is just annoying..

I don't know/understand what you mean, I don't have a WoW folder.. I can't install the game with the WoW-4.0.0-WOW-enGB-Installer.exe, it always freezes.

Alright, fixed it.. jumping around on the server and nobody is online. :)

Well, apparently you need to install Adobe Flash for the installer to work properly. It's always up to date with Chrome, but I had to install it for the IE to work. Oh and I just recently ugraded to IE9, maybe that had something to do with it, too. Or maybe it was just luck and had nothing to do with Flash.. I don't care right now, it worked. ;)

@TaliciaDragonsong: Aha! I'm already level 11, I really like the way my first Horde char moves.. it's a Troll WL btw @SythonX7.

I dunno where our GM is hiding out, but we'll get to it asap!
