    Ok so i'm about to buy world of warcraft. I already have a trial account and just need a answer to my question. Can I use my friends burning crusade expansion for my wow account even though he has already used it? in essence can you use the same expansion pack for multiple accounts?

    Just to confirm the no.... no.  You'll need an individual key that will upgrade your specific account with Blizzard.
