Worms AI, what the hell?!

I'm sure if you've played Worms 2 Armageddon or any of the Worms games you've noticed that the AI is hit or miss (literally). So many times they'll take a random shot in to a wall like they expect it to go through  the entire freakin map to meat with tender worm flesh.But when the AI Worms come hard, it comes HARD.
These little fuckers make grenade lobs like that one ridiculous ass putt at the end of Happy Gilmore. Just banking off walls, squeezing their way through gaps making it to my poor poor worms face with just enough time to to launch shrapnel into my face.
 I'm on the 25th mission in the solo campaign and no matter were i go, no matter what i do to hide, no matter what i put between my worms and them, they send those bastards strait to my face

But god do i love this game!

Yeah, the AI's aim can be brutal, but they also can't take advantage of things that you can, so it can even itself out.  But those later missions in the campaign are freakin' hard!

I've always hated Worms AI for that reason.  You'd think they would have fixed that by now.  At least make them always make slight mistakes.  It'd be like if in a FPS the enemy always hit you dead on.

In this particular case it wouldn't be hard at all to make it easier but not too easy.  When the AI is aiming, add a very minor random 'to the left' or 'to the right' offset to their aim.  There, done.

I'd be happy if the AI skill was just a little more constant.  I get annoyed that one turn they can hit you perfectly from the other side of the map and the next they manage to blow themselves up.  Still, I do love the game regardless of the AI problems.

As much as i love Worms, i have to agree that the AI is incredibly inconsistent; sometimes shooting straight at the wall and other times having the ability to hit a pin head, on top of a pole, on top of the Effiel Tower from China.

Yeah, the AI is brutal when it comes to grenades. The first time I realized that was when one of the enemy worms managed to throw a grenade which bounced several times from across the frikkin' map, and landed it nicely on top of my tophat. Seriously, it stopped perfectly on top of the hat, one second, BOOM.
