The world's largest professional wrestling and sports entertainment promotion, World Wrestling Entertainment, has spawned dozens of games since the 1980s.

The WWE series started as the WWF series but the name had to be changed after a lawsuit by the World Wildlife Foundation in 2002. Some of the more famous wrestlers in these game are "Stone Cold" Steve Austin, The Rock, and Chris Jericho.
