The best movie-based game ever reliesed

When I got X-Men:Origins I was very curious how would the game handle on my machine, will it be a good 3dPS...well it is.The game doesn't follow the original movie script, but still it does a great job showing us some other scenes, new boss fights (some of them are really funny, perhaps with the fat blond guy :) ).However, the Africa part becomes extremely stupid and annoying at some point, especially when you are in the great engineering complex with the big robot (the levels change for 20 minutes... in a very stupid way:"So you don't remember Africa?"-boom the action changes place in Africa...well that's just  lame). The story-line is great told, but it's still very lame, nothing original. The graphics are great. I have to say that's perhaps the best-way-to-use Unreal 3 engine...Except with the parts when the game goes "slow-motion" (it actually loads the next textures)-this isn't very cool when you fight Gambit. There are a lot of these moments and it just made me crazy too much. The camera goes also nuts at some places and makes the game nearly unplayable. Also the game didn't found my gamepad, I had to play it with a keyboard and mouse...I waited so long just to play with gamepad, but I got seriously wrong...The sound is very good. The real actors used their voices to create the virtual characters...But I said- this is the best movie-based game ever...The whole RPG part of the game is really enjoyable and it's very balanced with the action. The combos reminded me of "Devil May Cry"+"Legacy of Kain". I really enjoyed ripping the enemies, throwing them from cliffs, in gas bottles and some other places :) Still the game does a very good job keeping someone before the monitor, but at 80% it starts to repeat itself and goes stupid (the last boss was very easy to beat even on hard-difficulty). Even with these small issues I hardly recommend the game to everyone, it's not very short and it's nice done even for the small gamers. Nice playthrough!!!

You know what gameplay mechanic I hate? Quck time events (QTE). The ones where they flash a series of buttons on the screen and you have less than a second to press each one, or you have to mash one button inhumanly fast. I've been playing video games for 15 years and I'm still completely unable to do these things. Maybe I'm defective; whatever, my point is they ruin games for me. God of War was one of the worst offenders, where practically every other enemy required severe button-mashing and ev...

Oh man this game is hella fun. Really great hack and slash action. It's sorta like... Max Payne but instead of guns you've got adamantium claws. Every once in a while you'll pull off a crazy move like slicing a guy's torso in half or whatnot and it'll go into slow mo while the blood splatters everywhere. Never fails to make me laugh. And it's all optimized really well for a PC port. This was made by Raven, so that's to be expected, those guys have been working on PC games for ages. It's just so ...
