Overview
The first game of many to pit characters from the Marvel comics universe with that of Street Fighter. These games differentiate themselves from the core Street Fighter games with an easier strung combo system, special attacks, variable counters/ combinations, and aerial combos for a much more faster, hectic, and over-the-top fighting experience. It also introduces dual character selection for tag-team like matches. Each player chooses two fighters where at any time they can switch out during battle making for more tactical and lengthier battles. However the PlayStation's version in this regard is limited where the second character you choose only acts out as a helper where they can jump in for a split second for a quick special attack hit. This restriction signifies the PlayStation's lack of memory to pump out 2D graphics as fast as the Saturn could. The Saturn's port, with the help of a special memory cart, is able to translate the game from arcades nearly 100% perfectly.Characters
