Yes more 90's classic arcade beat'em ups!!! Hopefully The Simpsons game will be next!!! Also will the online mode support 6 player? or Just 4?
Konami's X-Men Arcade Beat 'Em Up Coming To PSN, XBLA
Answered yourself there. If GR once had plans to charge more than $3 a game, it has long since evaporated along with its relevance. And Konami is too smart to let X-Men go for less than $10.
" Never played this game, but this seems like something they should put out on Game Room if they were serious about that... "
Wrong game, but:
You sir can have your Wolverine, I am content with Nightcrawler wrecking everyone's robot faces. I think I might have to make the Colossus super "woooooooooaaaaahhhhhhhh' my txt msg alert sound now.
Also, I am probably the only one that used to play games on the 4up spot in the arcade thinking I got more lives for my money.
I came really close to making an offer on an old cabinet that's at the local theater. I think they had it next to one of those racing game cabs that had giant speakers built into the sides at one point, because it had the purple blob at a side of the screen from being near a magnet.
Anyway, while not near as sexy, I'm thinking I'll go this route!
There's a comic book store in my area that has that weird Spidey game on freeplay. Weird game.
" Call me when Captain America and the Avengers hits Live. Now that's an awesome game! Also, the funky Spider-Man arcade game that Sega put out that let you play as Spidey, Black Cat, Hawkeye, and friggin' Namor! "
I actually thought this one was superior to Cap and the Avengers if for no other reason than six players being better than two. So I'm incredibly psyched about this.
I'm also glad they're not fixing the audio so Magneto will still welcome me to die.
" @Bruce said:" All of the XBLA beat 'em ups seem like one hour nostalgia purchases that people play once and then never again. "Haha. You're funny. "
Actually, he's pretty dead on. As much as I loved Turtles In Time, back in the day, it doesn't quite have the same appeal anymore, especially as you're not paying with a limited amount of quarters.
" @Napalm said:I guess you're right then. My view of Streets Of Rage still being awesome in 2010 is an entirely false opinion, because he's "dead on."" @Bruce said:Actually, he's pretty dead on.
