If I was to buy the 120GB hard drive for the 360 where would I get the data transfer cable to transfer my data from my 20GB hard drive.

Just double-check the box, I'm sure it'll say the contents. If not, Xbox will send you a cable.

That's a nice perk, although that's something that relaly needs to be in there. I'm going to have to pick up one of these at some point honestly. I wish I could just get an external and hook it up but that doesn't seem to be the way to go for the 360.

It comes with the 120 GB HDD that you buy by its self but the transfer cable does not come with the Eiite.

You can get a cord from MS.

Well, that form requires a serial number from a new console.  If you just buy a new 120gb hard drive without a console, it will come with a cord.  If you buy used, it won't and unless you can find a cord from someone else, you are out of luck.

I bought a "New", obviously used, 120gig hard drive from eBay. Luckily I didn't need to transfer any data cause I just bought an Arcade when they came out. It was a cheap way to get a white Elite :P
