So I live in a townhouse. Set up a wireless router in the upstairs bedroom where the modem is.  Xbox is downstairs in the living room with the wireless adapter. First day, worked awesome. In fact first week worked awesome. Didnt have WEP enabled. Got a new laptop, enabled the wirelss security, and now I can't get a signal on my Xbox to save my life. Any suggestions?

Ummm, setup the WEP stuff on your X360? 

Or just don't use WEP at all and instead use WPA. 

WEP's practically like having no encryption at all anyway and is breakable/hackable within 10 minutes, from someone with a couple laptops outside your house. 

You should just disable WEP.

I did set it up. Hex key was entered. Just for some reason the connection crapped on me. But I'll try to switch it over to WPA when I get back to the house. Again, thanks.
