    Hey guys, got a little problem I am pretty sure you can help me solve...

    I got a Demo-Code for Endwar, but when I want to redeem it, it says the code is not valid. I suppose it's a problem with the region-locking on XBL, as the buddy-code I gave to an american works fine with him.
    Obviously Ubisoft hasn't unlocked the demo for austrian users....

    Anyone knows what I can do about it? Do I have to change the region in the setup? Didn't MS block that out, and are filtering the IP's? 
    Every bit of information is much appreciated. Thanks!

    You should be able to just create and new GT and set it's region to the US. New accounts always get a free month of XBL-Gold and it should work....I've done it with JPN recently and it worked fine for me.

    Yeah, that's done the trick. I am currently loading the demo, I hope I can use it on my main-profile.

    I thougt I read something that MS is preventing this kind of fake accounts, so I never tried. I have to admit i envy the US-Video-Marketplace, so if this is working out, I am going to buy some stuff there.

    I am not sure if you'll be able to use your main account or not...that could pose a problem.

    No, it's fine. Seems that all content you have on the harddrive is accessible from every profile. 

    Already had my first MP-Skirmish ... it was a defeat ;)

    Thanks again for dispelling my doubt  about a fake profile :)
