Did you have an Xbox before you had an Xbox 360?

#1 Posted by Wolverine (4574 posts) -

I did, I was addicted to Halo 2 and then I got a 360 two months after it came out. I played Halo 2 more then I played my first game COD2.

#4 Posted by Lazlow (132 posts) -

Nah last gen I was a huge PS2 fan. This gen however I don't really like the PS3 at all. I have a 360 though and I love it! :D

#5 Posted by 4D (116 posts) -

yes i got the old xbox and 360

#6 Posted by Shotaro (814 posts) -

yes, though until I went to university and my housemate got it modded I barely used it. Now I barely use anything other than my 360.

Nah, the Xbox was a big flop. It had all of 2 games that I was remotely interested in that I couldn't get on my PS2, and I wasn't buying a console for 2 games.

#10 Posted by guthwulf (259 posts) -

Yeah, I got the old Xbox on launch as well. Didn't enjoy it nearly as much as the 360, though.

#11 Posted by Shadow2K6 (421 posts) -

Yeah.  Got it 2004 a couple months before Halo 2 came out.

#12 Posted by KiLL3r (105 posts) -

No, I had a gamecube. I used to play the regular xbox at my friends house all the time.

#34 Posted by logson (538 posts) -

Yessa.

#35 Posted by tec3297 (1258 posts) -

I never did, but now that I am playing the games on my Xbox 360 I wish I did.

#36 Posted by MrRetep (83 posts) -

I had two of them

#37 Posted by wefwefasdf (6730 posts) -

I didn't. All I had really known as Nintendo and Sony at that point and didn't even consider it. I wish I had.

#38 Posted by evilhomer (437 posts) -

Actually no since at the time i had a ton of friends who went out and got an xbox when it was released so it was unnecessary for me to get one when I could just go play Halo at their place.  actually a few times they would bring tvs over to my place and we would have Halo LAN parties at my home even though i had no XBOX.

#39 Posted by BeefJerkins (30 posts) -

yup.  Had some great xbox live times too with PGR2, Halo 2, and  Crimson Skies.  It has been modded and it now is running XBMC on it.

#40 Posted by Ubergeist (473 posts) -

Hell yea, so many good games on XBOX. Fable, Riddick, Halo 2, KOTOR... great console.

#41 Posted by DorianBlack (320 posts) -

I did, I have a pretty big library for it too.

#42 Posted by Reynolds (89 posts) -

Yes, I did.

#43 Posted by Vlademir (1083 posts) -

Nah. Before I got my 360 I had a PS2. I wasn't ever really into Halo so the Xbox didn't interest me very much.

#44 Posted by Green_Incarnate (1788 posts) -

Yes, I loved my Xbox. I've played a bunch of games on it. My favorite game of all time, Kotor, made it even sweeter.

#45 Posted by DoctorTran (1584 posts) -

Yes. Just like I had a Gamecube before a Wii, a PS1 before a PS2 and before a PS3.

#46 Edited by Jrad (638 posts) -

I had a Gamecube/Xbox last gen, Wii/360 this gen. I suppose I missed out on a lot by not having a PS2.

#47 Posted by Recongoddess (26 posts) -

#48 Posted by gla55jAw (2763 posts) -
