Every time I try to download something from the Xbox Live Marketplace, the download gets to 1% and gets stuck there. It never did this until just yesterday. This is extremely frustrating and even more so that I cannot find a solution on the internet. Do any of you duders know how to fix this problem? I would greatly appreciate it.

Are you sure your HDD has enough space on it?

Are you using wireless or a wired connection?

    Okay then :)

First I'll ask the question Quipido asked, Have you got room on your HDD?

Have you checked the signal strength you are getting on the wireless?

If it's okay, then try streaming some of those free vids on xbl to see if they play smoothly.

(I'm disappearing for 30 minutes, but I'll be back)

@Maniac_Matt: You could also try and clear cache on your HDD, there could be some corrupted data or something.

I have already cleared the cache and there is more than enough space on the HDD. And the signal strength is great. That is why im so confused as to why this is happening

Well if you can stream the vids okay then it's either a HDD issue or a problem with the download on their end. If you can download one of the free vids (Mass Effect has a Seth Green one that's free) and it downloads and plays just fine then I would say it's an issue with xbl.

You have no issues with the internet, (unless you're hitting download limits) so it's either hardware or xbl screwing up.

This will unfortunately mean a fun time raising it through Xbox support.

That is pretty much all I can think it can be. Good luck.
