The Xbox 360 is the second game console produced by Microsoft Corporation and is the successor to the original Xbox.
Favorite XBLA game
geometry wars 2, braid, and ultra minigolf (I know, but me and my friends played this game to death and loved it)
I only own one PSN game that's also on XBLM, and that's Bionic Commando Rearmed. That's my choice. =P
Also, you do know that there is a forum for XBLM, right?
I really love Bionic Commando: Rearmed. I'm a fan of the older, original NES version, so Rearmed was a welcome treat for me.
Also, Geometry Wars and Sonic the Hedgehog 2 are great.
I'd have to say it's a tie between N+ and Braid - two amazing games.
Geometry Wars (both) deserves a mention though.
Really liking Mortal Kombat Arcade Kollection but Hydro Thunder and Deathspank are also cool.
It's easily Super Meat Boy for me. I put more time into that game than most of my 360 games. Game is so addictive.
Their is so many great games on XBLA, XBLA and PSN games are my favourite new feature of this generation of consoles.
Geometry Wars1/2 are great games to play in short bursts.
Shadow Complex has that old school castlevania feel.
Trails HD reminds me of being a 10 year old kid playing snes/mega drive games when difficulty was very hard and allot of the times cheap but the pay off was great when you finally got past the part you had been so frustrated with.
Bastion I own on PC but have to mention as its allot of fun.
Sensible World Of Soccer as its my favourite Amiga game ever.
Sonic The Hedgehog 1-2-3 as I loved those games when I was a kid.
Braid and Limbo are examples of great titles at a great price, One thing i miss about old generations is quality platformers, I would love to see the platforming genre evolve for this generation but their just has not been a developer willing to take a chance on a big budget platforming game, their has been ratchet but it mainly stuck to the formula of ps2 ratchets, My point being games like braid and limbo feel like the next gen evolution of platforming on a smaller scale.
One i have not played yet but intend to purchase real soon is outland as I really enjoyed the demo.
Their are so many that I have enjoyed and i find it really difficult to name 1 or 3 titles I like the best but the ones I mentioned are definitely the titles I had the most fun with.
Geometry Wars: Retro Evolved 2
Honourable mentions: Limbo, Raskulls, and ilomilo.
No love for Shadow Complex? I still play that game at least twice a year. I wish Chair would quit making over priced Ipad games and make a sequel already. Maybe one where you get to shoot Orson Scott Card for being a homophobic racist with libertarian ideas that even Ron Paul would think are a bit too out there.
Tough choices...
I'd have to go with Shadow Complex or Pac-Man Championship Edition DX in terms of games that most impressed me. Though it kills me to leave off either of the Monkey Island special editions, Sam and Max, Peggle and Plants vs Zombies. There are so many to choose from.
Shadow Complex is my favorite. I only played through it once though. . .
In terms of a re-release, Symphony of the Night was the first one that really mattered to me. I own the PS1 version. . . but currently have no idea where it is (in a box, somewhere. . . in another state). So it was a great way to replay one of my favorite games of all time. The sound was a bit off, but still fantastic.
