For a better story: Fallout 3 or Fable 2?
Wow, really! I thought that Fable 2 was supposed to be a really dark humor kind of world. So in terms of characters that you meet and storyline, I sholud pick up Fallout 3?

I personally liked Fable II as well but the story was only an excuse so you can fart in the middle of Bower stone and make the other people love you . lol
"Wow, really! I thought that Fable 2 was supposed to be a really dark humor kind of world. So in terms of characters that you meet and storyline, I sholud pick up Fallout 3?"Probably. In terms of story, Fable 2 is funny, fairly clever, and very enjoyable, but not too heavy (though it is dark). It's also not very immersive; farting 5 times in a row to seduce a woman or get a discount from a shop isn't really something you'd do while connecting with your character, you know? Fallout 3 does a very good job of immersing you within the world and the characters. While the animations aren't always the best and there are things that you might find a little disengaging, you'll probably find yourself getting lost in the vast dungeons and wasteland expanses and really digging into it to try and uncover everything that you can. I've played for 23 hours now and I still haven't progressed through half of the main story- simply because I've been doing crazy amounts of stuff that goes on around you. Sidequests are long and epic, and in terms of making choices and really having to think about the implications of your decisions and how you want to play yourself out in the world, Fallout 3 is definitely the better choice.
That's just my opinion though. They're both awesome games.
I'm comparing them because I am already planning on getting Gears 2 and I don't like scary games (deadspace) and I don't have a ps3 (littlebigplanet.) So this is sort of what's left that I find interesting.

You don't even want either of them, you just heard whats popular and jumped on the opportunity of getting it. What happened to cool gamers who BOUGHT GAMES THEY MIGHT ENJOY, rather than wanting a game has been talked about the most? Do research before asking this question, then come back.
"Er, both are pretty much epic failures when it comes to story and storytelling."Yeah, exactly.
