Never liked the idea of purchasing gamer pictures (honestly, we have to be charged)? I have stuck with the same gamer picture for almost 18 months. That would be the Rutgers Scarlet Knights gamer picture. >:P

I use the Jesus gamer pic from the Hamlet 2 pack.

Pretty much all the picture packs are overpriced, but the LEGO Star Wars pack is great. Been attached to a LEGO Han Solo for a while now.

I have a snowman as my current gamer pic. I don't like going with the bandwagon of choices. Such as the GoW pictures, or Halo ones; shit like that. It's more enjoyable to have a unique gamer picture that only a very few people, if any at all, use.

I download the free picture packs when they are available. 

For the longest time, I had a picture of blood-spattered Servbot from Dead Rising.  Now I just use Racer X from Speed Racer.

I don't even think they came out in the UK. Last ones I remember coming out were Ocean's 13 and I think there was an I Am Legend set."

I use that default panda thingy. I can't believe that people actually spend money on a little digital picture.

Saw some free Saw V pics and got them, tho I kind of like the red pac man ghost that was on my console when I got it. Really would like the AVGN pic and would seriously pay for it but it appears to not be on the market place anymore as far as i can tell...

The only picture pack I have bought (and it was overpriced and I knew it was before buying it) was one of the Penny Arcade packs. I just loved the fruit fucker pic way too much. It's been my pic ever since I've been connected to XBL.

I surfed through the free ones, as I am a cheapskate.  I ended up finding the (don't quote me on this) Live is 5ive community pack 2...I think that's what it's called.  It's the one that has the crazy eye surrounded in red....this one:

I absolutely love the Mass Effect picture package (I forget what number it was). Not only is are they a bunch of beautifully stunning and color-rich gamerpics, but it's of an amazing game also! It's also pretty cheap too. Just use you're leftover gamerpoints if you ever buy a XBLA game. I think it's about 80MSP for my pack. Check out the one in my gamercard: (I used a Husk, they're so weird and cool!)

Also, not many people use the Mass Effect gamerpics so you'll be a bit more unique than the rest of the pack.

I have a Joker gamerpic (look at mini bio). I think it's ridiculous to have to pay for a little picture that goes next to your name that most people aren't even going to see anyway.

I never buy those.  I found a free one of Raz that I'm using right now.

Portal gamerpics that came on a OXM disc, the one I use is of Companion Cube.

If you have a favorite sports team or college its always good to have one of those. Also the BF BC ones are nice.
