While it looks FREAKING AWESOME, the gamplay seems the exact same from previous 3D SONICs which is ASHAME

Sonic would be awesome, if they took a new 3d engine and kept it in a 2d perspective ( see 28 seconds in to see what im talking about )
I havent bought a Sonic game since Sonic Adventures for the Dreamcast. I really want SEGA to make a good quality Sonic game so I can feel the need to buy one again.

Because this is exactly like the 2D ones, except x1000 in terms of beauty, though the gameplay is quite similar, locking the camera in 2D perspective most of the time.

I'd say if anyone was a fan of 2-D sonic they would be disappointed with this. I mean, all we ever wanted was 2-D. This is stretchy arm werewolf Sonic.
