Yes, I have. I've only gotten it once though.

The Xbox 360 is the second game console produced by Microsoft Corporation and is the successor to the original Xbox.
Has your xbox 360 gotten the Red RIng of Death?
No i had a scare though when the power went out while playing MW2 my 360 flashed the 3 red lights, but everything was fine once i rebooted.
the launch day 360 i bought is still rocking out for a friend of mine and my new mw2 360 is performing admirably. lucky me!
I've had it five or six times...I lost count. I suppose I should be outraged (which I most certainly am). But I guess that is what I get for getting a March after launch system. Oh well, at least they still "repair" them for free...until my warranty expires. Then I'll probably just get an arcade and hopefullythat will run better.
Wow, um, no. I actually never have had a RROD, thank god, and mine has been running for around a year and a half. What are you guys doing to get so many RROD?
Edit: What the hell Giant bomb? Now, like 3 days after posting this, I now have the RROD and no warranty, just in time for X-mas. I should have never posted on this topic.
No but it has died before. I got a single red light apparently it was some kind of disc drive error.
HELP
My friend, friend's son - a 7 year old kid used an xbox 360 for 2 years and the red eye E74 got it. They sent it to target repairr I think and they returned it saying no can repair E 74 so send it to MS. This is bull !It costs to send it to MS plus the loss of use while it's gone. Is there a console now that is free of E74 and will plug in to the existing cables and controller. No hard drive. I can't make heads or tales out of MS info. There is not enough time to get it sent back and repaired by Christmas and the kid is a bit slow. Dallas, Ga help needed. TKS - Woody Hairlip Hiatt, Smyrna Ga
I got a E73 error two days ago. I had a 14 month old Elite. The E73 error isn't covered by the extra 3 year warranty that the E74 error covers, so I was just fucked. I ended up going to Gamestop where they had a 2009 Arcade with HDMI output for $140. They bought my broken 360 for $40, and I bought a year warranty for $20. All in all my total bill was $120 for a "new" system right away, when had I sent mine in to Microsoft, it would have costed $100 and I would have been out of a console for 3-4 weeks. Plus, I may have ended up with a Arcade anyhow. PLUS, I'm in the middle of Assassin's Creed 2...
Yeah my first 360 did, sent it off and had it fixed, it's been fine since, my bro uses it. I have an Elite and so far so good... but how long will it last...
I am sad to report I caught the red ring of death early this afternoon playing Greed Corp (which you should check out by the way [the red ring was likely not caused by it]). On a lighter note however, I just made it under the 3-year extended warranty that covers the red-ring and E74 failures.
So: "Hurray, free repair! Boo, 4 weeks of repair! Red Stripe - the beer in the short, ugly bottle."
Through thick and thin, dirty disk errors, a messed up disk drive, and hundreds of miles of travel, my launch era 360 is still surviving. It's a miracle!
" Through thick and thin, dirty disk errors, a messed up disk drive, and hundreds of miles of travel, my launch era 360 is still surviving. It's a miracle! "Pretty much this... bought mine in June 2007 (was manufactured in like April 2006, if I remember right), disk drive is kinda wonky... doesn't always open or close right away. Bumming it around back and forth to school, friend's houses... it's somehow still alive. Hell, I even played GTA IV for like 8 and 1/2 hours straight when it launched (so the game says, anyways), and it survived that... although for a while it was doing some funky glitching out, and I would have to restart it. S'all good, though :)
I got it twice, and then one with a broken Ethernet port and then it got the E74 error. I think my Jasper is about to die too :/ It's been getting disk read errors constantly, and it freezes up at least twice a week. Had it for almost a year now.
It's seriously inexcusable, I really hope the next gen stuff is a lot more resilient.
I haven't played much xbox in quite a while, I only really play PC games, but when I was into it I had 5 die on me. I still have the sixth and it acts like it's going to die whenever I use it. (which is pretty rarely, it's not even in the same state as me.)
My absolute favorite xbox error is:

This brings up a rather "interesting" red ring. I have been through 2 Red Rings. One being legit, the other.. radiation sickness. Let me elaborate. It all started when my launch 360 was being all screwey and what not. Freezing, Dirty disc errors etc. I decided to take matters into my own hands. I called up support and they wanted $150 to fix the sucker. Well, that didn't fly with me. Now any reasonable person would never do this.. but a combination of partying and hatred towards support caused me to put my 360 in the microwave. 3 seconds, smoke, a spark and a call to MS saying I got red ringed was all I needed to get myself a new 360. About a year later the next one died a boring death, just sitting on ye old couch and she red ringed.. Microsoft happily replaced that one.
