How do I flash the partition of unofficial 360 slim hard drive?

#1 Posted by MormonWarrior (2541 posts) -

So I'm considering upgrading my Xbox to a slim model by buying the 4GB version and getting a 320GB hard drive separately. Some of the third-party ones available are way cheaper and work great but if you want to play old Xbox games you have to flash one of the partitions somehow... Does anyone know how to do this? I've Googled it and can't figure it out. If anyone could give me step by step instructions I wouldn't have to pay 100 dollars or more for the hard drive. Thanks.

Dude, I am sure you can google it. But can anyone say "PIRATE"?

Oh. I didn't realize it was actually illegal or anything. Huh. Well I'll keep that in mind.

Too late, I've already screencapped and reported this thread to the proper authorities.

Xbox account CheeseMonkey18 is set for deletion and all connected Xbox 360 units are prepared for bans lasting until the year 2999.

Ignorance of the law is not a proper defence.

It's not worth the account ban Microsoft will send your way.
