Just a few hours ago I went to play some BlazBlue. Right when the game started, my Xbox turned off. When I turned my Xbox back on, I discovered that my Xbox 360 profile got corrupt. At first I didn't believe it and almost shit my pants but, then I remembered "Recover Gamertag." I'm very thankful for this feature and if I recall, PS3 doesn't have something like this but I could be wrong. Anyways, I'm so glad that I didn't lose everything. I have no idea what I would have done if I had to re-play every Xbox game that I own to get my Gamerscore back up.

The Xbox 360 is the second game console produced by Microsoft Corporation and is the successor to the original Xbox.
I almost shit my pants today.

" PS3 has the same thing, your account is tied to an online account for both PSN and xbox live; unless you never connected it to the internet, deleting your account off your harddrive does not erase it's existence. You won't get your game saves and stuff back though. "That's good to hear that PS3 does have that.

" Clearly you would have replayed every Xbox game that you owned to get your Gamerscore back up. =p "It would take way to long to build my Gamerscore back up. I have like 50+ games.
Yeah that recover gamertag feature is pretty sweet. It saved my life once, now we're living happily with three children. On a serious note though, I wish I could remove the games that people just played on my xbox for one day. It's pretty annoying to shift through sometimes.

It was one of the new features with the new dashboard update.

"Grown folks shouldn't be shittin themselves. "
Well they shouldn't, but I guess they do!
I mean lets face it, why do you think they make these?

Maybe you should sharpen your skills.
it sucks when ur data gets deleted. it has happened to me, my hard drive broke. i had to get a new one from microsoft. i had to start every game that i have. so far i've only beaten forza 2 and crackdown. some of the games i don't feel like beating because i already did that with cod 4 and halo 3.
ps3 has an account recovery. it's just like xbox 360. it's hard to find in ps3. i had an account on my friend's ps3, i just got a ps3 so i had to find it.
" Grown folks shouldn't be shittin themselves. "you have got to be shitting me :0

Online accounts aren't saved to the hard drive, that's how you can access them from any console.
I'll just leave this here.
