And I have to agree, I have a PSP and I am very unhappy with it, it simply doens't do anything interesting (although it has good games) and now I am "dating" a DSi for like 10 games? And those are just the ones I remember the top of my head...

I honestly never play the DS or PSP and I own both...it'd probably be a really dumb move to buy another portable...but I probably would. :/

When I think of a "Xbox Portable" all that comes to mind is a Sega Game Gear.

Depends on so many factors. Most importantly, game support. Then battery life, size and portability, weight, aesthetics, usability... I could go on. Basically, if was any good, of course I would. You can't just ask if I would buy it without some kind of condition. For example, if you asked "would you buy an Xbox Portable if is cost $300," I would probably say no. Of course, even that would depend on how good it was.

Also, I don't know why everyone is slamming on the PSP.  It has some pretty cool games on it.

Judging from the history MS has with faulty hardware then probably not.

I really wouldn't need one. As much as I love my PSP and my DS both I dont really play either one of them as much as I should considering the money I have spent on them. Having said that though I would more then likely definately get one immediately because I am an idiot who spends far too much of his income on video games. I would buy it play with for the day then put it in the chest I keep all my portable gear in and there is would rot.

I barely play my NDS as it is. I'd pass.

I don't know what killer feature or killer app it would have to even compete. The DS has touch and the PSP has its multimedia functions + almost all of Sony's IPs. Indie games have already been kind of a wash and everything Zune can offer has been done before.

I would wait at least a year before buying something like that.  just to see if it would last long enough warent a purchase *cough* red ring *cough*

I'm not really a big fan of portable game systems, so probably not.  It would all have to depend on the games though, I mean I only use my DS for Pokemon these days

The portable that I want to buy is a $100 arcade portable dual sticks with buttons and optional touch with a good graphics chip and flash 40 gig memory. If they made something close to that that would be awesome but really they probably aren’t lol.

No, I had a PSP that I didn't play on now I have a DSi and I hardly play that, I some times break out the iphone but that is wearing off fast....

I will refuse to do so, but think about the possibilities of having one.  Then I will realize that I don't like playing games while traveling and end up not buying one since I have everything gaming-wise on a console or on this handy laptop.  Then again, if they included a few XBLA games, hm.  Maybe.  Maybe.

Some things that would make me decline and agree.
Games- If they made one, it would need many good games, that neither PSP nor DS have. (not saying they dont have good games, but not many, unless you like RPG's a lot.)
Battery life- Has to be able to go about at least 8-10 hours before recharge.
Graphics- not a big thing, but at least up to par with PSP.
Extra Features- if it had online play and internet, music and photo capability, and two thumbsticks or nubs
