Ok so, i bought MS points today to get the new Gears 2 dlc, turns out its not available in Ireland.. but it is in the UK, now my MS points are on my Ireland gamertag, and not on my UK tag....

anyone know if theres a way to either change my account country, or get my 2100 points onto my UK account??

Ms will not allow you to change country under any circumstances, nor will they transfer MS points under any circumstances either.

Thats bizarre, I've never encountered dlc that came out in England but not here in Ireland, tbh I didn't even know we were on a separate service to them.

I think there has been some really minor things, but I can't quite remember what they were. Oh and the Community/Indie games are unavailable to us.

It won't work, it will just change the region for your email address and other things. Your GT will still be registered to the region it was created as.

Many before you have tried, but I don't think anyone has ever managed to change region, MS just doesn't allow it.

I also cant download a few arcade games, doom and most of the decent ones.

I don't think there's any way to move the points to your other account, unless you call up support and they somehow move them for you.

That could work, but i'd rack up a phone bill of more than what these points cost anyway so.. I guess ill ask a few buddies if they have 1600 points and recover their profile, in return for mine.

Maybe do a call to customer service and see if they have any knowledge of the DLC coming out in Ireland. Other than that... well, sorry, you're fucked. Keep it for Shadow Complex, that looks hella good.

That is pretty wierd :S

As far as i can remember, Rez, Doom, and the Streets map for Vegas 2 have been denied to me. Probably more but i cant remember.

I just sent them 2 polite emails offering a few things i'd be happy with.

Not really, the only Games i dont have that i want, i cant get :S

Unless i buy overpriced Burnout Paradise DLC. Haven't tried downloading Original games though.

And srry about that, was just a bit.. annoyed.

I had to deal with Microsoft earlier this summer when they automatically renewed by Xbox LIVE subscription even though I told them last time not to do it again which overdrew my account(my job is only during when I am in school, so I have been basically living off of what I had saved when I was working in the Spring) therefore the bank slapping on a $25 fee. Luckily, I just spent a few minutes on the phone with a nice guy who apologized, fixed the problem, put back the money into my account and helped talk with my bank and got them to lift my overdraft fee.
