I just deleted a game (not the memory) from my hard drive so that I could play it on a friend's 360. It usually said (before I deleted it) that I needed to download an update so that I could play the game, which isn't true because it never did that on my 360 where it was downloaded. So like I said, I deleted it from my hard drive to see if it would just play like a normal disc on his 360... And it did the same thing... Did I just make it so that I can't play the game with my data again?

Please help!
I don't really understand your post. Sorry.
I read it twice and just can't get what you're trying to say.
Even though I can't really understand it too well, why not just install the update? Or is there a reason you can't do that?
I don't understand what you're trying to say.
You deleted it from your HD so you could play it at a friend's house?
wut
Yeah I figured that would happen... Um.. My game was installed on my hard drive + 360. It wasn't installed on my friend's 360+hard drive. When I tried playing it at his house, it would say that it couldn't load my file (I brought my hard drive to play on his 360). So I went home and deleted it off of my hard drive because I was going over is house the next day. I did that so that maybe it wouldn't need to be on my 360 to play, and that it could play as a normal disc (not off my hard drive). So that didn't work. I even tried installing it on his 360 + my hard drive and it said the same thing... I think I can't play my file again which sucks, unless someone knows how to fix it.
If anyone else needs help understanding just post on this.. I would really appreciate the help.
" well, its a little scary thinking you wasted however many hours of your life. So I'd say its a bit of a problem. "This happened to me with my forza 2 save when i took my hard drive to my friends house. When you play the game again on your 360 just install the update it tells you to and then it will work fine at least thats all i had to do.
" Thanks for the reassurance, no one really seemed to understand (no offense) "i did and said all you have to do is connect to live and download the update, thats what i did. Also don't put your hard drive on another console if you don't want this to happen again.
