i juist got mine about 2 hours ago..my emotions are somewhere between pissed and sad...

I didn't get the rrod yet, but the first thing that would come to my mind would be 1-800-4MYXBOX

I didn't see it until later, but my friend called me and he was all freaking out and pissed (a long time ago) and all I could do was laugh, it was like he just lost a bet or something. XD

I think a lot of people can agree on this one: "Fuck."

I got one a couple days ago. I at least have a PS3 this time (it's the second ring I've gotten), so I rebought Bionic Commando and sent back my Gameflyed 360 games in exchange for the PS3 versions. So I can continue playing stuff until I get my system back.

I was like "that sucks"

I was like, "WTF!?! I just got the thing 5 minutes ago!"

Then I realized that my output cables were not plugged in all the way. Christmas was not ruined that year.

Thank god I got that one year GameStop warranty free with my Xbox 360 so I just have to take it to them tomorrow and get another one right away. ;)

I knew I was going to get it but when I actually got it I was still pretty sad.

I hit in like 2 times. I was pretty pissed. It was bullshit the damn thing broke after a short time. : (

Very very pissed off. I was about to play some Gears co op with a friend but he wasn't online yet. So I decided to play Oblivion while I wait and it said I needed to download an update. After I downloaded the update I got the RROD. =(

I just got my first RROD a couple days ago. It was a launch 360 too. :(

I had just finished vocals on Rock Band and then my system made an irregular sound and froze. Turned it off then back on, was greeted with the "3 quadrants of death." I was incredibly pissed off since it was a couple days before GTA IV but I just borrowed a friend's console. Now that I look back at it, I could have waited and not played GTA IV. What a disappointment.

I was in denial.

nothing. because it was the first time to turn my 360 on, i didn't know that anything unusual had happened until the error message displayed.

I had accepted it was only a matter of time, wasn't surprised or anything. I went Ryo-ugh in my head. The first time. The following two or three times it broke down I just sighed.

I only saw the red ring once.
I turned on my Xbox 360, and the ring was red for like 10 seconds, but started normally and ran fine.

Only time, I've had any RROD experience.

i haven't got it yet but when i heard of the hardware failure epidemic i was like "HA HA" because at the time i was really pro nintendo. now i'm a 360 guy ironically

Fuck, lol it ended up working out for the best. I got an Elite.

I got my RROD in a power cut. I was pretty scared, as GTAIV was about 2 days away.
I'm sure you can imagine the exact  word i thought lol.
The xbox started to work fine after about 10 minutes though.

I was really annoyed, because I came home from work all really tired and shit, and just wanted to get some killing going on CoD4

I'd never even heard about red rings when it happened.

I just stared at it with my mouth opening expecting the rings to spell out something like "Just fuckin' with you buddy, play with meh moar"

honestly, i sat in my chair to play some rock band, turned on the 360 ala the drums, and i was in disbelief. i went over to it and was all like FUCK!!!!!! and then i just laughed and sent it in and played some ps2 games till it came back.

I was in disbelief, but when it sank in I just ran around my dorm yelling profanities.

sad and pissed at the same time since it lasted 2 very great years and i havent gotten a new one yet but i will have too with the great games that are coming

Something like "No! No! You've gotta be kidding me. Ah shit." It was the week after Bioshock came out and I hadn't finished the game yet, so I was pretty pissed. Luckily I was able to use the towel trick to finish it up

I have been playing for about 14 months A LOT and still no rrod. I do have a lot of space around my 360 and it's right below the window on the floor, so maybe that has something to do with it.. and maybe luck. Btw, no falcon in this baby.
