My 360 started scratching disks, so i sent it to best buy under its product replacement plan.  they will send me $399.99 plus tax.  If i already have a hard drive and a live membership, it it worth it to get a Pro model, or should i just get the Arcade?

I have an HDMI cable i can use from my computer so that isn't an issue.  Does the Arcade 360 come with a wireless controller?

Get an elite 120 gig hard drive, then sell that 120 gig and use your current hard drive if the current hard drive is smaller transfer the stuff to the new elite and sell the older hard drive.

Same thing happened (except it was error 74). I got the arcade version and it is great. if you have all the accessories, than you really dont need a pro or elite (unless you want a big hdd). It comes with a wireless controller, has an HDMI port and comes with 5 arcade games (UNO, PAC-MAN: Champ. Ed., Luxor 2, Boom Boom Rocket and Feeding Frenzy 2), which is a nice bonus. I wholeheartedly recommend it.

Are the Arcade consoles still the only Jaspers? I know I have a Jasper Arcade (bought a HDD though) and it works excellently, and it's more quiet than my friend's Falcon, too.

You could go with the Arcade, since the current models (or, now all 360 models) sport the HDMI port, and since you have your own HDD, you can just plop that in. Also comes with some games, so you have something from the start. That is, if you only want to shell out two hundred bones.

Both of those are good ideas.

Hands down, get the Jasper arcade bundle with bonus games.  Was the best decision I ever made after my faithful launch console crashed about 2 months ago.    It's unbelievably quiet and made my first gen console sound like an obnoxious vacuum cleaner by comparison.

Get the Arcade if you already have the HDD. The Jasper chipset in it is the solution to most of the problems with the 360.
