I am on my 1st one and its a year old this month. Nothing wrong with mine at all! I got three year insurance and it is instant replacement. So when it does go wrong just pick up another one and bob's your uncle! Even if he isn't your uncle I just don't care!!!!!!!!!!!

Only once for me.
I sent the X-Box to The X-Box Repair shop, and they either sent me a new one, or they managed to fix it. I'm not sure which. Regardless, the only problem I'm having now is that occasionally, the X-Box has trounble reading the game disc I put in it. I usually have to shut it down until the next day, and it's pretty much fixes itself after that happens.

I'm on my fifth now. After it stopped working I decided to go for a PS3, but truth be told after a while I started missing my 360. Luckily, when I turned it on it came up with the E74 error message and so Microsoft is gonna fix it for free. There might be a problem though: has anyone sent off a 360 to Microsoft to repair, after having it supposedly repaired by an individual who charged for the service? I'm worried that they might say it's been tampered with or something

1 RROD (elite)
2 sound and no video (elite/pro)
sending the RROD back, the other two were out of warranty. i just did the towel trick on the elite and it works. i thought it was a bunch of bs like the boiling disc trick on the dreamcast. but i figured it was bricked anyway so what the hell. wrapped it in towels, plugged in power, and let it run till it shut off twice, about 5 minutes total. i cant believe it fukin worked.

well, it worked for an hour or so...actually worked on both the elite and pro. time to take some shit apart and make some heat spreaders work properly.
