I have a falcon elite and and a launch pro from December 05 both still work but the pro did have disc drive problems tht I fixed myself.

Had one die on me. The one that I got replaced spins the disc so loud - much louder than my first one, but no RRoD yet.

I'm on my 4th 360 now. the first 360 didn't read any discs, and the 2nd and 3rd got RRoD. the first two I sent to MS and got them repaired for free, but the 3rd crashed when I was 2/3 through GTA IV so I just went to the store and bought a new one because I couldn't wait 2-3 weeks to finish the GTA IV story.

Only once. If yours has broken 3 times, it's probably your fault, no offense :P don't keep it on a shelf where it'll overheat easily, and try keeping it horizontally, to utilize those fans at the bottom.

Twice, I went through it once, the 2nd time they still fixed it but I didn't want to deal with it anymore and traded for a 80 GB PS3 on craigslist. My PS3 just stayed on for more than 40 hours without skipping a beat last weekend.

yo dead serious, if my ps3 broke even once, i would sell it. thats absurd that theres guys on here that had more than 2 xbox360's. i seriously do not understand how anyone like that is still a 360 fanboy.

Mine has died once, but it wasn't the fabled three red rings of death but just one red ring.
So I would have had to spend £60 and wait 3 weeks for it to be processed . Instead I just bought one of the new arcades a few weeks back which is cool because I got a HDMI output now but the mat white finish on the disc tray is not so cool.

Once as well and I got mine back within roughly 2 weeks. No delicious bribery required. It wasn't the 3 RRoD though, it was one single flashing red ring so I had to pay about £40 to get it fixed. :(
