WTF? Why do you put up with that bull shit? I had an Xbox for a year, it got RRoD and I sold it to buy PS3. I couldn't be happier now...

I am on my 4th 360.

First time was Red Ring of Death, second time the disc drive stopped working, and third time, I started having graphical issues (I was told it was the beginning of the E74 error).

I told Microsoft it was the Red Ring of Death every time though so I never had to pay for repairs. I get a new system within a week, so it is never a big deal.

Any problems you have with it will be fixed free of charge by Microsoft. There is no reason for anyone to spend money on a new system or repairs. The latest models don't have the same issues that plagued the 360 in the past.

never. got mine 2 years ago, the worst that happened was a freeze when the xbox logo flashes up, and a couple times when it couldn't read my disk (brought up the "play in xbox 360" message), but worked upon restart.

As of tomorrow i will be on my 3rd. My first 2 both falling to RROD. If/when this new one goes i dnt think ill be replacing it to be honest. Tho i have heard the newer ones arnt RRODing as much.

@Johnman: Naw son I've gone through 5 I think now and the recent one was an elite. At least the one they sent me has the new chips because it was built recently but I won't say anything about it lasting in fear of jinxing myself.

On my 2nd 360 now.

The only one that died on me with RROD was a launch system that lasted till 2008, microsoft got it repaired and sent back in 9 days and its going strong in my bro's room now.

So i'd say im pretty lucky compared to 99% of people thankfully.

3 times first time was RROD then disk drive was running very loud and its starting to do it again so going to be 4 by the end of the year and the last time I sent it out it would not reading any retail game. It will be 3 years in Feb of me getting a 360.
