It was 3 red lights, now it's 2 red lights, and it blows cold air out the back for 10 seconds when you turn it on...whats going on?

This behavior occurs when the internal temperature of the console exceeds the acceptable limits. You may think of this as too hot, overheating, and so on.

If the three red lights you speak of is the Red Ring of Death (and I'm pretty sure it is), call Microsoft. if not, um, pray?

I forget what 2 red lights means but it should say in the manual.

it means it's overheated but it hasn't actually damaged t5he system.
place it in a cooler spot . if not it could become 3

I thought 2 lights were from overheating of the internal drive.
