a psp, accessories for it, and 7 games for it -$500
i just kept on buying games thinking that "okay, this is gonna be the one good psp game!" and being sorely diappointed every time.
bioshock - $60
wasnt a bad game, but after playing it once, i never wanna see it again. i should have rented it, i beat it in 3 days anyways.
geometry wars - 400 ms points/$5
i liked the demo but once i bought the full game, i played it once and havent played it since.
coldplay import single - $6
i feel so stupid for this one. i alread had x/y but i went ahead and bought the single cd for one of the songs since it had some b sides.
the wall - $30
imo one of the best albums, but at $30 i feel a little ripped off.
the laptop im using now - $1000
specs: 3.0ghz p4, 480 mb ram, 32 mb integrated intel grpahics 80 gb hard drive. bought in 2005.
about 1/4 of the books i have - $50
i havent read em yet and dont plan on reading them.

Guitar Hero Aerosmith. I looked at the achievements and instantly went out and bought it. Wow, was that a bad decision. I had 970 gamerscore in about 4 days and a little sick to my stomach that I paid $2 a song for Aerosmith. I don't really listen to a lot of music and assumed that Aerosmith was good for some reason and I hated every minute of playing that game but I had to play it or else I would have wasted my $60.
I will never again buy a game based on achievements and achievements alone.

I have a few regrets on my 360. I won't even get started on my XBLA purchases.
Overlord was fun for a week. I never finished it.
C&C3 is still fun for me, but I'm terrible. Only got halfway through.
Lost Odyssey, because I hate random battles. The story's great, but I only got to disk two.
Guitar Hero 3 was great until Rock Band came out. Never touched it again.
I would say CoD4, just because I feel bad about never enjoying the multiplayer as much as everyone else.
And that's just the 360 stuff.
Oh, and Assassin's Creed. It was so forgettable, I forgot about it. Didn't finish. Too repetitive
