Been revisiting Red Dead Redemption recently, and at least twice in the last 12 hours or so I've gotten a system notification telling me:

"FISTMASTER 3000 is online"

At first I thought someone on my friends list has done something stupid with his username recently, but after checking it turns out the brilliantly named FISTMASTER 3000 is not on my friends list.

Two popups so far, same guy. Don't know if it's the game or some weird thing with Xbox Live. This ever happen to anybody else?

It takes awhile for gamertags to fully change. My bets are one of your friends changed their GT but it has not been updated on your friends list.

Sadly, yes. For some reason it wasn't reflected on my friends list until just now, and knowing who it is I guess I shouldn't be all that surprised. Not sure if I'm an idiot for not noticing earlier or he's an idiot for changing it.
