Poll Is Twitch integration a game changer for you? (246 votes)
Personally, I thought all the games looked rad but the biggest thing for me was the Twitch announcement. I can't wait to stream on it.

I play video games for fun.
I play (porn) games for the story.
not at all, but I'm sure there are plenty of people who either already do live streams or wanted to toy with the idea of doing one that are excited about it.

I already have an HDPVR, it's not going to magically stop working when the Xbone comes out.
The magic is called HDMI HDCP. Does XBone have other outputs than HDMI?
It's not a game-changer in terms of "will I buy the console", but it is something that I cared about a lot. One of the most important features to me ending up on the one system that I am by far the least likely to buy really stings.
If they're in some kind of exclusivity deal, I hope that twitch breaks out of it as soon as possible so that the PS4 can get a better service than fucking ustream.

If I had an Xbone I wouldn't need to use my HDPVR since it has Twitch support built in, and if I were to get a PS4 I can just use component video.
On the more optimistic side, even if you're not an XBONE owner, this almost certainly means that twitch will be getting a gigantic boatload of money to (hopefully) improve their servers.
Nah not really, but I could see it being cool for showing off those weird little moments that come out of nowhere when playing a game.
And glitches obviously.
I mean, I have twitch on my PC and my phone (that app is garbage). Why would I want to have to turn on the XBONE just to watch twitch?
Nope. I don't understand the whole sharing/broadcasting of gameplay. Maybe it is just that I am not narcissistic enough.
EDIT: I should note that I like the ability for people to stream, but I would never use it to stream my own stuff. It is a nice option to have if you are trying to do speed runs or something, but I don't understand the reasoning of people just streaming their everyday gameplay for the hell of it.
This is personally my favorite feature of the new generation as I watch a lot of fighting game streams, and there are lots of highly skilled and entertaining players I wish would stream but currently don't. Having this option for EVERYONE is gonna make for a lot of bad streams, but also lots of great ones if you know what you're looking for.
According to the email I got from Twitch, it'll be available behind a paywall. I really think that sort of thing needs to be done away with.
This certainly doesn't sell me on the Xbone, but it was something I was wishing for the moment PS4 mentioned Ustream. That said, I'm not buying anything unless the drm stuff is all sorted out.
I don't see how a minor feature could be a 'game changer'. I have plenty of other ways to watch Twitch - I don't need another 500 dollar box for that.
