Man, if only I didn't respect NDAs.

When this kid is given an anal probe by Microsoft, it will also be because of reasons.

Makes you wonder why some PS4 footage hasn't leaked yet.

Ehhhh ummmm plus minus ehhhh ahhhhh uuuuuhhhmm remote

This guy is gonna get a fucking hammer of legal shit coming down on him. Nintendo flew a man out to a small town that sold copies of Pokemon X and Y early and shut the store down and took photo's of everyone who were sold the game and had to return it.

That's just one game, this is a next gen console made by an even bigger company.

#9 Posted by Wolfgame (878 posts) -

@chaser324: yea no kidding, what is wrong with these kids. I hope this shot at internet fame was worth costing his parent their employment.

It really looks like an old VCR. Also is it me or does that controller looks like it is made with cheap plastic? Maybe it is me but it looks so much cheaper than the 360 controller to me.

Maybe their NDA is really scary?

Yeah, the kid sounds like kind of a moron, if I'm honest. And those videos were really boring.

This kids parents are going to be fuuuuucked.

Good luck to his mother or father getting a new a job.

They'll be fine. Millions of uncles who worked at Nintendo in the 90s kept their jobs after their nephews told everybody about their top-secret copies of Super Mario + Sonic for their prototype Super Duper Nintendos.

Yeah I like the look of the console but the controller looks kinda tacky.

The D pad in particular looks pretty bad

Major Nelson beat him to it.

Yeah, the kid sounds like kind of a moron, if I'm honest.

Which honestly wouldn't seem far from the truth, given the amount of legal trouble he's just gotten himself into.

#17 Posted by Wolfgame (878 posts) -

It's hard to defend the generation growing up now when they show such disregard for their own parents employment

#18 Posted by CaLe (4052 posts) -

I can't tell if he's from Northern Ireland or Ireland... He seems to flip between the two accents.

Not that it's important, but I think it's hilarious that the case is that big and they still couldn't get the power supply in it. Other than that, I feel really bad for this kid's parent. Hopefully since it's not unreleased information they won't get in too much trouble.

@cale:

Sounds like Derry to me, bit of Belfast, are there any microsoft places here? That might be a hint, if his parents work there

Edit: and yeah, it's a weird mix, pretty hard to tell.

#27 Posted by ArtelinaRose (1857 posts) -

Hope he has fun not being able to play any games on it for the next two months.

#29 Posted by JJWeatherman (14569 posts) -

Going by his accent, i'd say he lives within 60 miles of me.

Yep, definitely Belfast or Derry

So you're going to go and find him, right? Please do and tell us all about it.

#31 Posted by SuperSambo (2885 posts) -

Purely from the way he speaks, he is either an idiot or a PR person.

I feel that this is just really bad marketing, no one would make a video that just feels so off...

#32 Edited by Blu3V3nom07 (3778 posts) -

Goddammit I hate 6th graders.

Controller looks nice and hefty.

#33 Posted by MideonNViscera (2252 posts) -

Maybe it's not his parents' in the first place and he's not putting anyone he gives a shit about at risk.

It kinda sucks they changed the controller just because, but at least it's still basically the same.

Also, wouldn't it be dandy if he logged into XBL on that thing? haha

#34 Posted by RandomHero666 (3183 posts) -

@cale:
There seems to be one on Queens Road, The Innovation centre, that's what google says anyway.

@jjweatherman:

I would try to befriend him then steal it, but all there is to go on is he's young, he has a laminate wood floor, wears socks, and might possibly live in the same country as me.

I'll start knocking and looking at peoples hands in the morning.

Welp, as usual I came in too late. I'm sure it was a nice discussion!

#39 Posted by Andorski (5365 posts) -

The fact that they use Youtube tells me it's marketing. Youtube obviously has a broad reach and has the means to take it down after a while to control the way it is being marketed.

If shit was real they would be using LiveLeak.

Heh, one hour later, and the Youtube account is closed, and I'm sure some people will be looking for new jobs.

He said abunch of half-sentences, and couldn't figure out what anything was. It was awfully boring.

That's why they call it the Xbox One, it's big and fat just like the first!

Didn't Larry Hyrb already unbox an Xbox One?

How's this stupidly NDA-breaking?

...How's this stupidly NDA-breaking?

If I had to guess...it may have went something like this:

"Hello Mr./Ms. Journalist or Industry person...here's an Xbox One Console! You agree to the following multiple pages of terms and conditions, in order to receive this hardware you must sign on all dotted lines and areas marked with an X with your own blood, in the presence of witnesses. If you breach the terms of this agreement, we will legally be able to kill you and your entire family. And your dog. Have fun with the Xbox One!"

They can't possibly fire anyone simply because this kid showed a thing that we all saw 4 months ago... can they? The dude who showed the dashboard was one thing, but this is nothing we have not seen before.

Even having the youtube account removed, I mean what's the point?
