I really enjoyed this. I love hearing stories about the history of any consoles and how they came to be. I felt Phil was very humble and genuine in them saying they screwed up at the launch of Xbox One for these reasons. It's stories like these that keep me coming back to GB's at Night shows during E3/GDC.
Yeah this is a fantastic discussion, and they don't seem afraid to open up about some things. I'd never heard of the AMD/Intel thing before -- having to break the news to the guys in the audience during a press conference is nuts. Some of that stuff sounds insanely stressful.
Does this begin with "Don Mattrick was unable to attend for...reasons."?
But man it's incredible how easy it is to pin stuff on Mattrick. Partially because they totally should be pinned on that guy. Anyway interested to hear this thing and hopeful that Peter Moore just comes off as way too casual.
