An airplane is a heavier-than-air craft whose lift is generated by airflow over the wings creating a strong pressure difference. In video games, airplanes are used for travel and as a type of weaponry.

A Gatling gun is a machine gun that uses multiple rotating barrels to rapidly fire bullets. Commonly mounted on vehicles or gunships, some larger characters may carry a hand held version.
Spandex, or "elastane" is an extremely form-fitting elasticated fabric invented in 1959. It has no special properties of durability, and is commonly used to create skin-tight clothing.

Small portable audio device originally known as a "wireless", that receives signal from a radio tower. May emit static when monsters are nearby, or emit voices when a talk show host is on.

Engines appear in nearly every game with a machine on them. With an infinite number of varieties, they will always be a part of modern culture.

Sand is a fine, granular material composed mainly of rock and mineral, primarily silica. Sand is the primary environment of many games with settings that include deserts, beaches, and the ocean floor, among many others.
A mechanical lifeform, typically exhibiting superhuman abilities, that can be found in games as either the main protaganist or as powerful enemies or allies.
An object that allows obstacles, such as rivers or gorges, to be crossed. Bridges can be made of a variety of materials like wood or steel.
