I assume you mean interrogating. As far as I've found, you can't actually interrogate the same alien type more than once. However, the benefit of capturing any alien alive is that you get their weapon for free. Good for saving research time or manufacturing dollars on new weapons.

I also found out the hard way that if you stun multiple aliens in the same mission, you only get the option to interrogate the last alien you stunned.

@Ravenlight: That's weird I stunned a sectoid commander once and a floater during the same mission and got both interrogations.

In the original game you got new info if alien was some other class than soldier. Example engineers would give info about enemy ship types and medics about biology of the aliens (useful with cyberdisc since it is hard to capture alive). Is this the case with the new XCOM?

There are also other weapons that you can discover by capturing them a second time. For example, I took down a second Sectoid Commander, and was rewarded with the alien grenade.

What? Really? I have totally underestimated my need for Arc Throwers.

Interagating sounds like some complicated daisy chain situation you'd do on 90s DOS computers.

@Tennmuerti: Weird. Maybe my game bugged out.
