One of the earlier missions, the first rescue mission, I completed it and it tells me to goto the situation room and launch a satellite which I did but it won't let me do anything else after that. What did I do wrong? I've tried reloading and I get the same results. Also, the ticker says the mission was a bust when I got out of there with no deaths!!

Plenty of people are way way past that point. It's just that no one who read the post has had the problem you described yet evidently, hence no replies. Be patient mate.

Or try the games official forum, or Steam forrum, they are generally much better places to seek out advice on bugs or issues, simply due to a higher number of people playing the same game.

Have you tried fast forwarding the time on the world map by scanning for activity?

Sorry...I was upset at the game and I lashed out is a passive way. Turns out the woman I had to rescue was leaving the "Safe area" before I could click the finish button. The mission would end in a success message, but once I got back to the base it was all "Mission Failed" and bugged the game out.
