So now that the game is out, how does one gain access to the Sid Meier character? Do you simply need to type it in as the demo showed? Also I know that Ken Levine is in the game, but what other secret characters are there? Is there anyone you would want to see in the game? Feel free to Photoshop them in.

Randy Pitchford should've been in the game.

I'd hope Dan Quayle is in it for posterity

When you're deploying for a mission Edit unit > enter First / Last name:

Sid Meier

Ken Levine

Joe Kelly

Otto Zander

I believe that unit will straight up transform into the secret character so best use a rookie, not one of your vets.

Playing with any of these characters disables achievements. That should inform you how powerful they are

@RenegadeDoppelganger: This is exactly what happens, but there is a pop-up warning you about achievements being disabled when you do it.

I just started a new game and pulled in Sid Meier, it looks like he's equipped with every trick in the book, including psionics. It will be fun to play through the game later with a squad of these heroes and totally wipe the floor with any opposition.

I was really hoping that, if I kept India supporting me the entire game, by the end of it Gandhi would show up to trade a bunch of nukes for a research agreement.

It really is. Not only are these characters all max rank, but they're equipped with the best weapons and armor as well.

25 health is so much early on that you don' t even have to consider cover or strategy.

I wish these guys were unlocked when you beat the game; that sounds like a perfect New Game Plus type playthrough...
