The third and final episode of this Bandai Namco Japanese RPG series, released in 2006 for the Playstation 2.
The game is a Japansese RPG, with the story focusing on Shion Uzuki of Vector Industries, and an android who is the product of Vector's R&D department named KOS-MOS. This specific chapter sees the climactic confrontation between the heroes and Wilhelm, the enigmatic corporate leader of Vector Industries who is hell bent on instituting Eternal Recurrence, a principle also outlined in Nietzsche's work. As with the first two installments, the game's plot is full of symbology and carries a heavy mixture of several different ideologies, such Christianity, gnosticism, eastern and western philosophy, spiritism -- among others. Even though the first two games left a lot of questions unanswered, this final chapter is able to give a great deal of closure, without ever being extremely concrete and thus leaving its symbology intact. The game leaves open the possibility of sequels although none have been planned thus far.
