    Here in Japan the Youkai Watch fever hasn't died down yet. If anything is stronger than ever. Obviously Level 5 has plans to expand the fan base. Having set the next game in the US might have being an interesting choice for when it's released in the west. I'll be buying anyway. Some of the most fun I had with handhelds (and games in general) the last few years.

    @spoonman671: That's pretty much what I got out of watching the first 6 episodes... not sure how the games compare?

    But it is insanely popular in Japan. The kids I teach here don't stop going on about it. I guess Pokemon can be associated with older generations now though, so makes sense the youngens are getting something "different".

    @wackojackman: I highly recommend the games if you own a 3ds. It's all ages. The show however is for kids. Not that there's anything wrong in watching it. As you might have noticed there are plenty of adults who know the theme song.

    Though it shares some concepts with pokemon it's quite unique and fun as well.
