Used to open doors, or anything else that is locked. In any game where the player has an inventory, it's a safe bet that a key will appear at some point.
A set of alphanumeric and command keys used to input information to a computer. Can usually be found sitting in front of in-game monitors.
A keycard is a plastic card with a magnetic strip, chip, or other circuitry, programmed to allow passage through locked doors. May also require a passcode or password of some kind.
This is an electronic lock with a key pad that needs to have the right numeric code to open a door, lock, or chest.
A knife is a commonly seen object in video games. Usually used for close quarters combat, or as a cutting tool.

A laser is a focused beam of light, invisible through the air without some other medium (such as smoke) to illuminate it. Lasers are often used in video games as part of a targeting system, or as an offensive weapon in their own right.

A storage utility usually used for items. In video games however, they have a different use: hiding.
A type of human-shaped statue designed as a display model for clothing.
A map is a drawing on a piece of paper, or other surface, that indicates the locations of various landmarks.
A martini glass (or cocktail glass) is a cone-shaped stemmed glass container used to serve cocktail alcholic beverages in.
Usually put on face to either hide the users face or as a stylish item.
Meat is the edible flesh of animals. It is often seen restoring the health of adventurers and annoying vegans.
A scientific instrument to see objects too tiny for the naked eye.
The mine detector is an instrument used by soldiers and armies to help them detect the metal in hidden land mines. This device is sometimes essential in video games in order to avoid massive damage.
Reflects light.
Mushroom is the familiar term used to describe a gilled fungus which may or may not bear a stem. Mushrooms are the "fruit" of spore bearing fungi.
A mechanical device, usually spring-driven, that plays a song. Often, the song will be accompanying by the periodic motion of one or more objects on/in the box.
A corpse (excluding undead) that has been maimed in a grizzly manner. A common decorative in castle dungeons.
A sewing utensil which in the right hands can be used to cure certain anomalies through acupunture or vaccination. In the wrong hands it can inflict damage on a living being; this maybe done by piercing flesh, vital organs, nervous points or to spread poison thoughout a body.

Paper is a thin material made of plant fibres, used to write or print upon. In terms of Rock, Paper, Scissors; it defeats rock, but is defeated by scissors.
